Massive changes in diet

For health reasons I'm going to have to completely change what I eat, at least in the short term.

I basically have to give up everything that tastes good.

Bah humbug.

Etsy find

The last two or three seasons I've been seeing different versions harness accessories, mostly in editorials. Nothing that I would just wear down the street like nothing's going on.

And here's were etsy comes in.

first seen here, where they make their own leggings, and blog about it.

Zeitgeist has a variety of easy to wear chain harnesses.

I'm a big fan of the Mother Mary.

The montreal Fringe festival is less than a month away, AND I may be involved in costuming a show. A very last minute costume effort, but we'll see what happens.

The undercut

Some of you may know that I've been growing out my hair, and for a little while was sporting an undercut to make the change a little less awkward (yes less, not more). And now Karen Langley, fashion editor for Dazed and Confused gets posted on the jak & jil blog sporting a mighty fine undercut herself.

I was worried about looking dated, and silly, but I think re-shaving the undercut is going to solve my current hair woes. And obviously make me cool.

Also please let me know if you spot a cool undercut. please.

More stuff

Tank top now available on etsy.

I'm updating over there just about daily right now, a bit of closet cleaning and a bit of collection development. I have so much fabric that needs to be made into stuff and sent out of the house. so so so so much.

So watching some inter'tube found something really damn cool.

Dog Bus

Like holy hell.

Dance hop, Cheap Hop, rock out.

being productive?

Haven't been as busy this week as last week. Mostly because I need to do a self-shoot. And I keep coming up with excuses to put it off.

I need to do some straight up catalog dress shots for etsy (mmmm tie dye), and I would like to also do something more directional and strange.

I might make a chest/body binder and do something kind of editorial with it. That would make me happy anyway.

Have a good night.

Exit Exam

I made this suit in order to graduate from fashion school, and well it worked. They loved it. I love it. And it kind of looks a little trashy. In a good way.

Etsy Update

I made this jacket a couple years ago, and had it just sitting in my sample closet after using it in a photo shoot. Time to clean out the closet!

45$+ shipping on etsy.

I was away

I spent the last week in toronto without internet, which is why there were no updates here, or on my etsy.

I'm expecting things to pick up this week. I've got some clients I'm working with, and will be updating their stuff here as work progresses.

(also I'm totally completely loving the tie dye trend right now. Love.)

Dear Everyone

Things here in Dainty Land are all caught up and ready for new work.

I'm going to be posting bits and pieces of my collection in progress to my etsy account over the next coming weeks, but I'm offering to you guys something special.

Custom clothing, cheap.

I'm looking to make tailored pieces for the cool bike riding lovlies in my life (or not in my life.) I'm open to payments in Cash Money or barter (I love barter, cause I love stuff).

I have lots of different wools (blacks, greys, patterns, pink!), and a small army of black stretch linen. The general price range is 40 for simple skirts, 90 for pants, and 125+ for jackets. This covers pattern adjustments, fabric, and labor. If you want something I already have a pattern for, the price will drop a bit.

k thnx bye.
